Deepti Gudipati

I founded DG Leadership Solutions from a desire to build healthier organizations and teams led by self-aware and purposeful leaders.

Who am I?  I am a leadership coach, consultant and master facilitator with over a dozen years of experience in leadership and organizational development.  In that time, I have demonstrated an ability to develop transformational programs, facilitate powerful conversations, and coach leaders at all levels – all for the sake of building organizations that work better, together.

I honed my own leadership skills while working at Merck PharmaceuticalsLifeBridge Health, and the American Association of University Women.  Throughout my career, I have taken on entrepreneurial challenges that leveraged my ability to lead diverse groups of stakeholders and ideate across multiple perspectives to execute successful programs and trainings.  As VP of AAUW’s Member Leadership Programs, I developed and grew a large portfolio of leadership programs and events; including the nationally recognized Start Smart and Work Smart salary negotiation programs. As an innovation consultant at LifeBridge Health I worked to design inclusive leadership teams and improve clinical outcomes.  I credit a love of collaboration, people management, and experimentation for helping with my accomplishments.

Great leaders are guided by self-awareness, purpose and choice.  I strive to empower clients with the strategy, skills and tools you need to own the change process and see tangible results quickly.  My clients will tell you that I’m adept at unlocking new levels of awareness, helping people feel comfortable taking risks, and aligning a company’s talent pool and a leader’s natural strengths with organizational need.

My approach is highly collaborative and my work is grounded in experiential learning and inclusive design.  I love helping clients find ways to work better, together.

As a lover of learning, I’ve collected Masters degrees in Organizational Dynamics (University of Pennsylvania) and Public Policy (Carnegie Mellon). These programs have helped me unlock my own potential and lean into my authentic leadership style using evidence based  tools and techniques on adult development, learning and leadership. As a graduate of the leadership coaching program from Georgetown University, I’ve also had the chance to learn how to be an effective coach from masters of the craft.  I began my leadership journey as Coro Fellow in Public Affairs.

I have presented at numerous conferences and events for organizations such as the International Leadership Association, the Association for Fundraising Professionals, and The White House’s Hack the Pay Gap event.  My expertise has been cited in publications such as The Boston Globe, Washington Post, LA Times, and Glamour Magazine.

I live in Washington D.C. In my free time, I like to indulge in my love of storytelling, cooking and board games.  I’m also the creator and interviewer-in-chief of Hello Stranger, a podcast all about how we become who we are.  Subscribe, listen and meet yourself through the stories of others!
